Height estimates come from statistical formulas used in pediatrics. Real adult height is influenced by nutrition, health and genetics together - treat this as a rough guide, not a guarantee.
Tool Introduction

This predictor offers three well-known estimation methods:

Mid-parental height (also called the Tanner method) averages the parents' heights, adjusting by 13 cm for a boy (add) or a girl (subtract). Most children land within about 8.5 cm of this estimate.

Doubling at age 2 uses the popular pediatric rule of thumb that adult height is roughly double the height at age 2 (boys) or 18 months (girls).

Foot length is the quickest and least precise method - fine for a ballpark figure only.

You can switch between centimeters and feet + inches at any time. Everything runs locally in your browser - no data is sent anywhere.
